چکیده
For a pure SU(2) Yang–Mills theory in 4D, we revisit the spatial (3D), ball-like region of radius r0 its bulk subject to pressureless, deconfining phase at T0=1.32Tc, where Tc denotes critical temperature for onset deconfining–preconfining transition. Such possesses finite energy density and represents self-intersection figure-eight shaped center-vortex loop if BPS monopole core ?r052.4, isolated from antimonopole by repulsion externally invoked through transient shift (anti)caloron holonomy (pair creation), is trapped therein. The entire soliton (vortex line plus mass m0 containing monopole) can be considered an excitation pressureless energyless ground state confining phase. Correcting earlier estimate r0, show that vortex-loop associates central part a(n) this carries one unit electric U(1) charge via (electric-magnetic dually interpreted) monopole. quantum vibrates thermodynamically determined frequency ?0 unresolved. deconfining-phase plasma oscillation about zero-pressure background T=T0, compute lowest ?0 within neutral homogeneous ball (no dependence R0. R0=r0 comparison with reveals oscillates much slower than same driven core.

SU(2) Yang-Mills Theory: Waves, Particles, and Quantum Thermodynamics
We elucidate how Quantum Thermodynamics at temperature T emerges from pure and classical SU(2) Yang–Mills theory on a four-dimensional Euclidean spacetime slice S1 × R3. The concept of a (deconfining) thermal ground state, composed of certain solutions to the fundamental, classical Yang–Mills equation, allows for a unified addressation of both (classical) waveand (quantum) particle-like excitat...
متن کاملLoop expansion in Yang-Mills thermodynamics
We argue that a selfconsistent spatial coarse-graining, which involves interacting (anti)calorons of unit topological charge modulus, implies that realtime loop expansions of thermodynamical quantities in the deconfining phase of SU(2) and SU(3) Yang-Mills thermodynamics are, modulo 1PI resummations, determined by a finite number of connected bubble diagrams. .
متن کاملNonperturbative approach to Yang-Mills thermodynamics
An analytical and nonperturbative approach to SU(2) and SU(3) Yang-Mills thermodynamics is developed and applied. Each theory comes in three phases: A deconfining, a preconfining, and a confining one. We show how macroscopic and inert scalar fields form in each phase and how they determine the ground-state physics and the properties of the excitations. While the excitations in the deconfining a...
متن کاملYang-Mills thermodynamics: The confining phase
We summarize recent nonperturbative results obtained for the thermodynamics of an SU(2) and an SU(3) Yang-Mills theory being in its confining (center) phase. This phase is associated with a dynamical breaking of the local magnetic center symmetry. Emphasis is put on an explanation of the involved concepts. Introduction. This is the last one in a series of three papers giving an abbreviated pres...
متن کاملYang-Mills thermodynamics: The preconfining phase
We summarize recent nonperturbative results obtained for the thermodynamics of an SU(2) and an SU(3) Yang-Mills theory being in its preconfining (magnetic) phase. We focus on an explanation of the involved concepts and derivations, and we avoid technical details. Introduction. This is the second one in a series of three papers summarizing the thermodynamics of an SU(2) and an SU(3) Yang-Mills t...
